To be plain about what this is: free cleaning is a service, not cover against faults. What is covered against faults is set out below.
Manufacturing defects
A manufacturing defect is a fault in how the ring was made, as opposed to something that happened to it afterwards.
- Setting faults are repaired free for 1 year from delivery. This covers defects in the manufacture of the setting — a failed prong, a cracked band, a broken solder joint.
- Diamond faults are remedied by exchanging the diamond.
What this does not cover
This is a manufacturing defect policy, not damage cover. It does not cover accidental damage, wear, loss or theft.
If you want protection against loss, theft or accidental damage, that is a job for jewellery insurance, which is separate from anything Venera provides.
After the first year
The 1 year runs from delivery, not from the day you paid. After it, a setting fault is a chargeable repair, quoted per job. Send us a photograph and we will price it before doing anything.
Resizing is separate
One free resize within the first month, and the rules around it, are on the returns and resizing page.
